چکیده
Task offloading is a promising technology to exploit the available resources in edge cloud efficiently. Many incentive mechanisms for systems have been proposed. However, most of existing works study centralized under assumption that all mobile infrastructures are operated by central cloud. In this paper, we aim design auction-based truthful heavily loaded task system heterogeneous MECs. We first homogeneous MEC situation and present global auction executed as benchmark. For situation, model dual framework, which enables MECs perform cross-edge without participation servers. Specifically, two models: secondary model, offload tasks from large-scale region single auction, double suitable time sensitive tasks. Then auctions these models Through rigorous theoretical analysis, demonstrate proposed achieve desirable properties computational efficiency, individual rationality, budget balance, truthfulness, guaranteed approximation. The simulation results show can obtain 14.5% 4.2% more social welfare than comparison algorithm on average, respectively. addition, has great advantage terms computation efficiency.

With the emergence of diverse mobile applications (such as augmented reality), the quality of experience of mobile users is greatly limited by their computation capacity and finite battery lifetime. Mobile edge computing (MEC) and wireless power transfer are promising to address this issue. However, these two techniques are susceptible to propagation delay and loss. Motivated by the chance of s...

By offloading intensive computation tasks to the edge cloud located at the cellular base stations, mobile-edge computation offloading (MECO) has been regarded as a promising means to accomplish the ambitious millisecond-scale end-to-end latency requirement of the fifth-generation networks. In this paper, we investigate the latency-minimization problem in a multi-user time-division multiple acce...

متن کاملJoint Service Caching and Task Offloading for Mobile Edge Computing in Dense Networks
Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) pushes computing functionalities away from the centralized cloud to the network edge, thereby meeting the latency requirements of many emerging mobile applications and saving backhaul network bandwidth. Although many existing works have studied computation offloading policies, service caching is an equally, if not more important, design topic of MEC, yet receives muc...
متن کاملMobile Edge Caching: An Optimal Auction Approach
With the explosive growth of wireless data, the sheer size of the mobile traffic is challenging the capacity of current wireless systems. To tackle this challenge, mobile edge caching has emerged as a promising paradigm recently, in which the service providers (SPs) prefetch some popular contents in advance and cache them locally at the network edge. When requested, those locally cached content...
